MET Eireann say it is possible that they may be power outages and traffic disruption today as the entire country is under a Status Yellow Wind Warning.
The latest wind warning is valid from 5am today Thursday until 2am on Friday morning.
Motorists should be careful of debris and fallen trees, while members of the public should avoid walking near waterways, cliffs, piers and coastal areas.

A windy or very windy day. The last of the rain and low cloud will clear during the morning and the rest of the day will bring mix of bright or sunny spells and scattered showers. A few may turn heavy in the afternoon. Mildest during the morning with highs of 8 to 11 Celsius but cooler in the afternoon with highs of 6 to 9 Celsius. Southwest to west winds will be strong or locally very strong and gusty.
