January can be a particularly difficult month. Following the hype of Christmas, the extra expenditure and the additional stress to enjoy the festive season, many people are overloaded by the time January hits.
With this in mind, Enniskerry Parish Pastoral Care team have come up with the novel idea of opening up their space at St.Mary’s Church in the Village for people to take a moment and catch their breath.
Aideen at Enniskerry Pastoral Care says ‘You can sit in silence with candlelight and gentle music. Take a few minutes and just be. Light a candle, say a prayer. Bring a coffee and just sit if that’s what you need.”
You can avail of this calming space at Enniskerry Church on the last Thursday of each month. The next open space will be Thursday, 26th January 1-4pm. Non-denominational, all are welcome.
