Glenmalure Rural Energy Group host Solar Panel project info meeting at 8pm on 21st February 2023 in Ballinacor Community Centre (A67WY83). Everyone welcome.
G.R.E.G. started a solar panel project in the local community last year. Those interested sent in their Eircode and energy usage figures and SEAI mentor Simon Whelan (from www.glenergy.ie) did some calculations on these figures. Simon then emailed a report with preliminary results, costings and recommendations for all. Those involved have now had some time to consider and digest Simon’s assessment of their individual properties, energy usage and Solar Panel requirements.
On 21st February 2023 at 8pm G.R.E.G. will host an info evening with Simon Whelan (SEAI Sustainable Energy Community mentor) to explain the details and figures given to participants and also describe the next steps involved for the project. Laragh-Glendalough SEC will also join that open info meeting in the Community Building at the Ballinacor pitch.
G.R.E.G. are inviting everyone to come along. If you have been involved, if you are just interested in how the Solar Panel project is progressing, if you are thinking of getting involved, if you are just curious about Solar Panels, everyone is invited to attend. Everyone is welcome!
