Saint Patrick’s Day Participants
Wanted Saint Patrik’s Day participant our parish participant in last years Saint Patrick’s day parade in Rathdrum was the first for many years We had great fun and came away with 1st prize This year we hope that more children will join the children’s choir and that more adults will accompany the children in the parade to represent the parish

An Garda Siochana Wicklow Division is trying with your assistance to set up an older person register in the event of any type of an emergency. An Garda siochana would have the relevant information to contact next-of-kin.
The necessary forms are available in the sacristies in each of the parish churches.

Walking Group for Parents of the Rathdrum Schools
Wicklow Sports and Recreation Partnership are organising a 6 week walk n talk group. This instructor lead walking programme will start on Tuesdays at 9.30am . It will commence on Tuesday 21st February and meet at the RDA Hall in Rathdrum. All parents from the local schools are welcome to take part in this programme. It is a great way to meet other people from the area and get some exercise as well.Please contact Wicklowlsp@wicklowcoco.ie for more details.

Rathdrum Historical Society
Rathdrum Historical Society is hosting a talk on Arthur Griffith on Monday 6th March 2023 at 8pm in the Ann Devlin Annex at the rear of the RDA hall.
The talk will be given by Brian Maye who is a retired secondary-school teacher and a third-level lecture and a historian and journalist. He has written a number of books on history.
The society held its annual general meeting on Monday 6th February. It was a successful meeting with a good attendances. The following were re-elected to the committee. Chairman Ger O Byrne Treasuries Breda Sheehan, Jill McCarthy stood down as secretary and Bernadette O Byrne was elected as our new secretary. The committee thanks Jill for her long and excellent service to the society and wished her well for the future.
Seven committee members were elected Siobhan Baker, Ciaran Byrne, Dave Mc Call, Jill McCarthy, Lorraine Williams, Jimmy O Shaughnessy and Ann Savage. Condolences were offered to members who have died since the last AGM
