Ray Goggins shares insights on “Being Effective” at Network Ireland Wicklow Event

On Wednesday evening, the Network Ireland Wicklow branch welcomed a special guest speaker to the Bridge Tavern in Wicklow, Ray Goggins.

Ray Goggins is a retired Irish Army veteran who served for 26 years, with 17 years in the Army Ranger Wing as a special forces operator and leader. Having been deployed to conflict areas and war zones worldwide, he understands the qualities that make people effective in their lives. Ray is also an author and the Chief Instructor on RTÉ’s Special Forces Ultimate Hell Week. Not to mention he also runs his own training and leadership company, Coreskill (coreskilltraining.org)

During the event, Ray spoke about the importance of teamwork, community, and having support in our lives. He shared invaluable insights on improving leadership skills and behaviours, resilience, and coping skills to stay positive and focused. Ray’s presentation was well-received, and attendees were motivated to take on challenges with renewed vigour. As always, the event also served as an opportunity for attendees to network and connect with like-minded professionals.
