Lotto
The numbers drawn in Aughrim Sports Club lotto on Monday March 6th were: 13, 19, 25 and 28. The jackpot was not won. There was no match three winners either. The jackpot for Monday March 13th is €2,150. People who support the weekly lotto are lending support to the local sports clubs who are very much part of the community.
New to YouThrift Shop
Our thrift shop New To You is open for business. Please remember to only deliver donations when the shop is open and only items that are clean and in good condition (a good way to assess suitable items is to consider “would I buy it myself.”) Having to dispose of unsuitable items eats into our resources.
For various reasons we cannot accept the following items – toys, jigsaw puzzles, games, duvets, pillows, DVD’s, electrical goods, underwear. Our current opening hours are: 9m – 4pm Wed, Thursday & Friday, 10am – 2pm Saturday.
GAA News
Congratulations to the Lambert brothers Padraic James and Darragh together with Oren Cullen and Bobby Callaghan who represented Aughrim in the County Junior Scór last week. This group of talented musicians were successful in the County final and now progress to the South Leinster final shortly to be held in Carnew. We wish them well as they progress through this competition. Our first league game against St. Pats was cancelled last Saturday due to our pitch being unplayable. The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Doyle family of Lourdes Crescent and the Doyle family Tubberpatrick on the sad passing of Jimmy and Bud ( Bridget) respectively. May they rest in peace.

Tinahely Darkness Into Light-Early Bird
Tinahely Darkness Into light 5KM walk will take place on Saturday 6th May at 4am starting from the Tinahely Community Hall. The EARLY BIRD reduced rate tickets are available until March 24th.
