The Irish Living Food Association in conjunction with Michaela Avlund present: “How to Increase and Maintain Positive Connections”

Michaela Avlund reveals the reason for her passion for Positive Psychology. In her childhood she watched her mother suffer with mental illness and was not able to help her. As a result of this she wrote ‘Happiness Skills based on Positive Psychology’ to help anyone suffering from stress or mental turmoil.

A member of the Servants of Love, Wicklow Town, Michaela spends her time developing school and adult wellbeing programmes. Her latest project, Bad 2 Better is available free for anyone to use.

On behalf of ‘Alive – the Irish Living Food Assocation’, Michaela will be speaking on how to develop and maintain positive connections in our lives, with our own self, nature, loved ones, colleagues, the surrounding world and the innate goodness that we all possess.

Positive connections energise and help us to move on from life’s inevitable disappointments and
traumas. Every day presents us with new opportunities to increase these connections, to heal and to
love.
