GAA News

Well done to Aughrim hurler Dylan Byrne who was part of the Wicklow County Hurling team that had a convincing win over Louth in the first round of the Nicky Rackard Cup last Sunday in Aughrim.
Our adult hurlers had their second outing in the Intermediate hurling league last Saturday at home against Carnew. Despite fielding an under strength team due to an unprecedented number of injuries, the players on duty put in a great performance and only two goals from Cormac Doyle of Carnew was the difference between the two teams. Carnew won on a score line of Carnew 2-11 Aughrim 0-10.
The club would like to extend our sympathy to David and all the Whitty family on the sad passing of Eddie. May he rest in peace.
