Emergency services called to Lidl

Emergency services were called to Lidl just before 2pm this afternoon.

A woman was witnessed collapsing on the footpath just outside the store on the Wexford road in Arklow. She appears to have sustained a head injury which was treated at the scene before the woman was removed to hospital by ambulance from the scene.

The road has now been cleared.
