Arklow RNLI are warning members of the public to be aware of bogus collectors.
Today Thursday two people called to a number of businesses in the town claiming to be doing a swim for the local charity.
It is understood they are wearing the RNLI logo.
A Spokesperson for the Arklow RNLI said. “If you have seen these people or are asked to donate, call the Gardai in Arklow”.
