Carnew notes week May 22nd


Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Carmel Stedman nee OBrien , Millbank, Shillelagh who died during the week and was buried on Saturday.

To Mary Walsh, Donishal her family and relatives on the death of her brother Tom Butler, Crossabeg who died recently.

To the family and relatives of Har Nolan, Clonegal who died recently.


Carnew GAA club are holding a barn dance on 4th June in Kenny’s barn Carnew with music by Drops of Green, DJ till late with BBQ admission €15 from any member.


The lucky winner of our split the pot draw for Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew who won €235 was Tristan Massey.


Our seller’s prize winner was Kathleen Molloy and Tabita Crisan the lucky dip winner.

Our next split the pot draw takes place next Friday 26th May.

Pilates classes also take place on a Tuesday night in Colaiste Bhride Carnew and Thursday night in the GAA grounds, to book your place go to Kpilates on Facebook and book your slot.

Mens classes are also starting on Wednesday nights and classes must be pre booked also on Kpilates on Facebook.
