Birdwatch Ireland will host a Dawn Chorus Event on Sunday May 14th at 5am at Avondale Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.
To celebrate National Dawn Chorus Day, you are invited to join BIrdwatch Ireland to hear the bird orchestra play its overture and then listen to the individual soloists sing as we walk through the woods.
This Dawn chorus walk will follow the 3km long Cairn Trail at Avondale Forest Park and is expected to take 1.5 – 2 hours.
Birdwatch Ireland would like to Thank Coillte and Beyond the Trees Avondale for facilitating the event and for waiving the car park fee for our early morning start!
