Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services Wicklow is the subject of a new documentary, ‘Inside the Hospice’, to be broadcast on Virgin Media One at 9pm. over three consecutive nights: Monday 15th May; Tuesday 16th May and Wednesday 17th May. The series will also be available to watch on the Virgin Media Player.
The three-part series gives unprecedented access and a unique view of patients and their families making their journey under the care and support of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services in Dublin and Wicklow. Set in Harold’s Cross and Wicklow Hospice, the documentary will feature some familiar faces from Wicklow Hospice team
Geraldine Tracey, Head of Nursing & Operations, Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Wicklow & Blackrock Hospice said: “We are delighted to take part in this special documentary and to showcase our services in Wicklow and Dublin as well as the work of our staff and volunteers. We have worked closely with Virgin Media to show how palliative care is about so much more than just the end of life, but also a celebration of life.
