The Walls Project is teaming up with the Wicklow Town Team to create 5 new murals across the seaside town.
5 locations have been identified as locations for the new art work. These include Doctors Steps/ Scouts Hall, Salthouse Lane, Quarantine Hill, South Quay Harbour and Market Street all of which have a rich history with names that nod to the past whilst being an integral part of the future of the Town.
Wicklow Town is connected via a series of lanes and this is mirrored by the ‘Connectivity Project”s mission to bring connection back and encourage community collaboration, connectivity and creativity. To reconnect the central Main street of Wicklow Town to the South Quays and Port Area through its network of laneways. To enliven the town and create better footfall ow through these areas.

The Wicklow Town Team was stablished in 2017 with a mission to make Wicklow Town a better place to Live, Work and Play. This Town Team initiative looks to encourage more collaboration, communication and cooperation between the local Council, business and the wider community.
