Over 1200 customers in the Wicklow Town area are currently without power due to a number of faults.

ESB Networks are currently working to restore power in the affected areas with estimated time of power restoration currently quoted at 00:30 on Tuesday in some cases.

The first of the outages reported occurred shortly before 9pm this evening with a number of subsequent reports being made since. The affected areas include Glenealy, Rathnew and some areas of Wicklow Town.
