Groundhog day as another 1200 homes left without power due to faults in the system

Wednesday evening saw another fault in the ESB networks causing power outages to at least 1200 homes in the Annamoe, Roundwood & Newtownmountkennedy areas.

Although power was restored to many of thee affected homes within 90 minutes, no light has been shed on the causes of the faults or how often they should be expected to reoccur.
