Shelton Abbey Prison are hosting their Annual Open Day on Tuesday, 11th July this year as they celebrate their 50th year as an Open Prison.
Guest Speaker on the day will be Wicklows own Charlie Bird.
A well attended event in the local Summer calendar, attendance was over 2,500 at the 2019 event with attendees flocking to the venue over an hour before opening time.
This year, attendees can expect live music, craft stalls, the obligatory raffle, a BBQ, fresh flowers and tours of the stunning Shelton Abbey House and Gardens.
This years event runs 12 – 4pm
An ideal family day out that all generations will enjoy.
All are welcome to attend. No photography is permitted. Free Entry.
All proceeds from the day will go to Pieta House, St. Catherine’s and Dogs for the Disabled.
