Chris de Burgh’s Bushey Park home which sits just outside Enniskerry could easily be mistaken for a Country Club. Boasting 8 en-suite bedrooms along with multiple reception rooms, a guest lodge, swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and of course a music studio at the centre of 27 acres of mixed woodland and manicured lawns the home would be fit for any celebrity, royal family or business tycoon.

After 4 years on the market and a price reduction of more than 20% applied in 2022, getting a buyer for Bushey Park seemed like a never ending story. Luckily, Chris and wife Diane maintain that the sale was never about money and instead was an opportunity to downsize.
Lisney Sotheby’s International who handled the sale for de Burgh have removed the listing from their website. There is not so much as a murmur coming through as to who the new occupant may be. With the price tag sitting at a hat tip below €10 million, the new owner is thought to have paid in the region of €365,000 per acre for the estate.
