Gallery@No:5 celebrates 2nd Anniversary

This week on July 13th Gallery@No:5 is celebrating its 2nd birthday . Situated at No : 5 Main Street Wicklow Town A67 PX92.

The Gallery is a unique bijoux space housing the distinctive paintings of Kathrina Shine in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This also coincides with a major landmark anniversary for Kathrina, who is celebrating 25years of painting oil & acrylic abstracts on the 14th July.

That day 25years ago 14th July 1998 , she set out to paint 28 pieces for an exhibition . That exhibition happened in the next century in 2000 , opening at what was then The Cullenmore Hotel.

The opening reception and venue were generously sponsored by Joe & Joka Van der Flier & opened by Architect Colie O Donoghue . The exhibition then transferred to Wicklow County Buildings , Station Road.

Since then Kathrina has continued to paint & exhibit, with over 12 group and solo exhibitions. Her paintings have been purchased by the Office of Public Works for the National Collection, as well as many private buyers both here in Ireland and Internationally.

To celebrate these milestones she is offering her current collection of 47 paintings at a special 15% discount to the customer , she will match this by donating a further 10% from the sale to The Jeannie & Aidan Go fund me appeal . Both Jeannie and Aidan are personal friends of Kathrina’s Son and Kathrina has known Jeannie since she was in primary school.

The Sale starts Wednesday 12th July , running until Saturday 22nd July during Gallery opening hours and online at with the code : 25+GOFUNDME.
