Wicklow Superstar Hozier concludes his Worldwide ‘Unreal Earth’ tour this December with 3 shows on home soil. Promoter, MCD had originally announced 2 shows at 3Arena, it looked like the Multi platinum artist would be heading on his Christmas break after his Dec 20th show. However, with demand so high and the majority of his scheduled shows already sold out, the decision was made to add a third Dublin date much to the delight of fans. December 22nd will be his 3rd Dublin gig and the final show of his 2023 worldwide tour.
Despite the singer songwriters self penned track ‘Take me to Church’ shooting him to fame in 2013, he had in fact been writing his own sings since the tender age of 15. Educated locally, Hozier taught himself to play the guitar before later studying music at Trinity College.
Influenced by Irish music and literature his music often tells the tale of social injustice and highlights the plight of the marginalised. Hozier is also known to support both local charities within his community and to show his allegiance to campaigns across the world which aim to improve equality and human rights.
His latest album, also called Unreal Earth is set to be released on 18 August 2023.
