MET Éireann issue Wind Warning for Saturday

MET Éireann have issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Saturday morning.

Unseasonably strong southeasterly winds are forecast for Saturday morning, strongest in coastal areas and on high ground.

Possible impacts: Damage to tents and other temporary structures
Falling branches.

The warning is valid from 6am until noon.

Members of the public are being advised to keep away from waterways, cliffs and piers.
