All Ireland Tree Climbing Competition and Family Fun Day happening in Wicklow this weekend

If you’re looking to hang out with the family this weekend then Avondale Forest Park is looking like the place for you.

The Forest park will this weekend play host to the All Ireland Tree Climbing Competition. You can enjoy two full days watching professional tree climbers swing into action as they navigate the stunning trees of Avondale Forest Park.

Friday 1st September 8.30am – 6pm

Saturday 2nd September 9am – 6pm

There will also be a family fun day taking place at the Park from 10am – 5pm where you can enjoy arts & crafts, the adventure playground, pizza, BBQ and whatever the kids want too!

The tree climbing event and family fun day are free activities. Car Parking is €5 per vehicle for the full day.
