Folk Group
When we sing hymns we pray twice! – The folk group are looking for new members.
We sing at 12 mass on the first Sunday of the month and 10am mass on the third
Sunday of the month, with a short practice before and after mass. All
are welcome. We will be starting back after summer at 12 mass on 3rd Sept. Call

SCOUT INFORMATION POST:
Registration will take place in the Imaal Hall at 7pm next Thursday, 31st August.
This is to register existing members and the interest in new members joining.
We have quite a long waiting list, so get names on it asap.

Social Dancing
Social Dancing will take place in Donard Community Hall on September 23rd from 9-12 pm. Music by The Gamblers. It continues on the 3rd Saturday of each month. October 21s t Adrian Ryan, November 18th Philip English, December 16th Michelle Murphy. All welcome.
Sympathy
Sympathy – is extended on the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Eager (née Barrett) who passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 22nd and whose funeral took place in Donoughmore on Friday, August 25th. Predeceased by her loving husband Joss, Betty is mourned by her family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Betty Rest in peace.
Village Market
We are trying to gauge what interest there would be for people to hold a market on the Church grounds, one Sunday a month. This could include plants, home-baking, art & craft items etc. If you feel you are interested in hosting stall, please get in touch with the Parish Centre Tue-Thur on 045 401871.
Pathways
Exploring Faith as an Adult – Pathways is a two-year, one evening a week, Adult Faith Development course on Thursday evenings, run by the Dublin Archdiocese in DCU St. Patrick’s Campus, Upper Drumcondra Rd, Dublin 9. Parish Monthly Draw – We will be hosting a monthly Parish draw to raise funds for the Church, with the first draw taking place in September. We are looking for volunteers to sell tickets and tickets are now on sale from the Parish centre at €10 per month. West Wicklow Historical Society
CALL FOR PAPERS
We hope to publish volume 12 of the ‘Journal of the West Wicklow Historical Society’ sometime in the autumn this year, 2023. As you may already know, in addition to Wicklow material, our journal also accepts articles regarding neighbouring parts of counties Kildare, Carlow and Dublin, particularly if the subject matter impinges into West Wicklow.
If you would like to contribute a paper, have students who might like to submit a suitable essay or know of anyone who would like to contribute an article, please let us know. The deadline for submissions will be the end of July. If you would like to contribute this year, please email your piece or any queries you may have to lawlorcm@hotmail.com.

Baby and Toddler Group
