Arrest made in Baltinglass following drugs raid

A 20 year old man was arrested in Baltinglass last week as part of an ongoing operation to crack down on the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

Following the search of a property in Baltinglass last Thursday, 31st August, a quantity of MDMA, Ketamine, Cocaine and Cannabis were seized. The raid which was carried out at 5.30pm by Gardai from Baltinglass District supported by the Garda Dog Unit.

The seizure resulted in the man being detained at Baltinglass Garda station. He was later released and is due before the courts in Carlow next Wednesday, 13th September.
