GAA Club News
Congratulations to our adult Junior D football team who put up a battling performance against a much-fancied Shillelagh /Coolboy team and came away with a well-deserved draw in the Championship last week on a score line of Aughrim 2-7 Shillelagh/Coolboy 1-10. Well done to all involved with this team.
Our Intermediate Hurlers came away with a very convincing win against Western Gaels last Saturday in Aughrim on a score line of Aughrim 5-16 Western Gaels 2-12. This was a very impressive performance by our lads and a great team effort. Unlike the last game against Glenealy we dictated this game from the start and the longer the game went on, the more we exerted control. We are through now to a County Semifinal against last years senior team St. Pats.
Best of luck to all involved.
Our Junior A footballers are out next Saturday against Shillelagh/ Coolboy in a must win match for both. Please come along and support.
