Taking place on Tuesday November 5th, The Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards 2023 will spotlight and honour some of the most dedicated and groundbreaking eateries that our country has to offer. And, of course, Co. Wicklow is well-represnted among those tipped to take the awards by storm.

Ciara O’Leary from Nine in Bray has been nominated for Best Chef along with Dinesh Chander from Chakra. Nine has also been nominated, and is tipped to take, the award for Best Wine Experience.

The Best Casual Dining Experience Award nominees include Nine, Pink Salt, The Grain Store, and The Grangecon Kitchen.

The ever-popular Pink Salt in Bray has also been shortlisted for the Best Customer Experience Award.

A spokesperson for Nine said “We couldn’t be happier for our head chef, Ciara O’Leary, getting nominated for Best Chef in Leinster at the Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards. We’re also nominated in Best Casual Dining and Best Wine Experience. What a buzz! Big shout out to the team for all their hard word and big thank you to all our great customers who have supported us through it all. You’re all legends!”
