Laragh Badminton Club AGM

Laragh Badminton Club AGM is on 2nd October 2023 in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 7.30pm. All club members and parents are welcome.

Brockagh Market & Car Boot Oct 8th

Our next event is on Sunday, Oct 8th. Indoor and outdoor stalls with a variety of items for sale with plenty of bargains from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc.  Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available.

Christmas Tea Dance

Our annual Christmas Tea Dance will take place on Sunday 19th November in the Brockagh Resource Centre from 3pm to 6pm. Music by the Wicklow Man. All groups must book in. Admission €10. Contact Denise on 0404 45600 or email brockaghoffice@gmail.com to book for groups.

Laragh Christmas Lights

We know a lot of people are making plans so we just wanted to let people know that we are turning the Christmas Lights on December 2nd at 6pm in the village with Santa leading the parade again this year!

Forever Young Yoga with Hildi

Do stiffness in your joints and want to move with ease and joy? Are you a bit stressed preparing for ‘normal life’ this autumn? How is your energy? Do you jump out of bed ready to enjoy what the day brings or do you drag yourself into the new day? Hildi can help ease your body & mind with expertly taught yoga. She’s highly qualified with decades of experience.

Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour. No need to book, just show up on the day.

Wicklow Mountains National Park

Walkers and visitors to the National Park please be aware that the carpark at the Old Hero Mines, Glendasan on the Wicklow Gap Road https://goo.gl/maps/mrCBkDwwH14Jvnxy6 will be closed from 2nd of October for up to 8 weeks to facilitate essential works.

This area is a start/finish point for the Miner’s Way, and also a popular access point for exploring the Glendasan Valley, the St Kevins Way, Luganure mines and Camaderry Mountain. During the works access to these via the Old Hero Mines car park will not be possible.

Please note that the nearest alternative parking is Glendalough or the Wicklow Gap car parks, and that St Kevin’s Way links both of these areas to the Old Hero site.

Visitors are requested to observe all safety signage on site.

We have a mixture of Hot Desks, Dedicated (Weekly/Monthly) Desks, Pod and Meeting rooms available with High Speed Broadband Connection. Our shared working space is located in the the heart of county Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley. Free parking, free tea/coffee facilities and lift access. To avail of the discounted rates you must pre-book your desk through brockaghhub@gmail.com only. Daily Rate €15, half day rate €10, weekly rate €60, monthly rate €199. We also have a special student rate of €10 day rate or half day rate €5. Register now as a Member on our connectedhubs.ie site.. We are waiting to see if they are renewing the voucher scheme.
