Local producers, chefs, and restaurants will be honoured this weekend at the Wicklow Naturally Festival of Food, and you’re invited to come and dig in to the festivites. But first, here’s a taste of what’s to come.
The festival, which takes place in The Brooklodge, Macreddin, will be an opportunity to celebrate food and drink from The Garden County as well as a chance to spotlight the people who make the magic happen. And there’ll be plenty of chances to learn how to make your own magic happen as well.
But it’s not just about enjoying the finest dining the county has to offer, The Wicklow Naturally Festival of Food is also an opportunity for much-needed activism, and sustainability is at the very heart of the festival.

And these panels will be headed by a who’s who of County Wicklow’s most taleneted chefs and experts, including Chef Conor Spacey, Dr. JP Mcmahon from Food on the Edge, Darina Allen from Ballymaloe Cookery School, and Hermione Winters from SlowFood Ireland.
But all that talking about food is thirsty work too, so there’ll also be a chance for talking and tasting: Wicklow Way Wines 2 pm to 2:30 pm, Whiskey – 5 pm to 6 pm.
And just when your tastebuds are coming to life, you’ll also be able to enjoy a very special Producer’s Market, Foraging and Beekeeping Talks and Demonstrations, Live Music, Whiskey Masterclasses, Wine Tastings, and yes, you guessed it – plenty more delicious food and drinks.
