The new TV series, titled “Small Town, Big Story” will be filmed in picturesque Avoca, and will cause minor traffic delays by The Woodenbridge and the temporary closure of Delaney’s Service Station.
A film crew will be present on the road between The Woodenbridge and Delaney’s Service Station on the 12th of October as they begin filming the new series – Small Town, Big Story.
A warning was recently issued that there will be minor traffic delays on the road in order to facilitate the filming of the show, which has been described as a ‘comedic drama series’ about a small town family in an Irish border town having their lives turned upside down when a Hollywood crew decide to film an epic drama on their doorstep.
The irony.
A spokesperson for the crew have said that the area will return to normal upon completion of filming on Saturday the 14th of October.
The crew will be on-site in the coming weeks and will be discussing filming plans with all residents in order to minimise disruptions as much as possible.
