Candy’s Service Station in Carnew has reached out to parents and students – “Candy’s Costcutter are always here to help.”
With the weather getting progressively wetter and dreaier, Candy’s Costcutter in Carnew are offering a helping hand to students who have missed their bus or lift home.
The popular service station announced last week that they are offering shelter and a place to charge their phones to students who have missed their lifts. They’ve also offered hot beverages to any students waiting in the service station for their lift to arrive.
Noticing that some students were often waiting for lifts on the benches nearby, Candy’s Michael Kelly decided to reach out and offer the use of their service station for shelter and a safe place to charge their phones and enjoy a hot drink.
And with Summer firmly in the rear-view mirror, and much colder conditions on the way, this will no doubt be very welcome news to both the parents and students of Carnew.
