Co. Wicklow is well-represented in this year’s Clean Coasts Ocean Heroes Awards.
Clean Coasts recently announced the shortlist for this year’s Clean Coasts Ocean Heroes Awards, a ceremony that spotlights those who have contributed to the protection of our coasts and the marine life that call it their habitat.
Blessington Tidy Towns have been shortlisted for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award, while Cllr. Lourda Scott has been shortlisted in the Individual of the Year Award.
Lourda Scott is the co-corindator of Clean Coasts North Wicklow and divides her time up between Greystones Tidy Towns and Junior Tidy Towns. She is also the chair of the council’s Climate and Biodiversity Action Policy.
