Early Christmas for Kilmac as Pluck’s Bar set to re-open

The popular bar and community hub will re-open its doors on the 15th of December.

Glencormac United Football Club recently made the announcement that Pluck’s of Kilmac would be opening its doors once again, and in a welcomed plot twist – it will be under the management of Caroline and Shane Macnamara, who had only a month ago parted ways with the pub.

While the future of the lounge in uncertain at the moment, the Kilmac community will be delighted to know that the bar will be reopening on the 15th of December, with a very special Christmas Draw being held by Glencormac United FC in the bar on the 16th.

Glencormac United FC wrote “The plans for the lounge are unclear and run separately but for now, Santa has come early because Caroline and Shane have been missed badly, both as publicans and brilliant community members.”

Glencormac United FC’s 500/1 draw will take place in Pluck’s of Kilmac on the 16th of December, and tickets are on sale this week.
