Man charged with Bray Boxing Club murder handed mandatory life sentence

The man charged with murdering Bobby Messett has been given a mandatory life sentence.

A mandatory life sentence was today handed to the man charged with murdering Bobby Messett in Bray Boxing Club the morning of June 5th 2018.

A jury of six men and six women found him not guilty of attempting to murder boxing coach Pete Taylor and another man, Ian Britton. Both of whom were injured in the shooting.
