One night in Bethlehem returns to St. Patrick’s Church

Due to popular demand, One Night in Bethlehem is back in St. Patrick’s Church, Greystones and will take place on Friday, 22nd December from 5-8pm.

The fun-filled family event will showcase a live nativity, an alpine food market, crafts, games, face painting and activities for everyone. The child-friendly petting zoo will return again and the children can look forward to meeting a pig, rabbits, a turkey, goat, pony, llama, chickens, lamb and a donkey.

Speaking about the live nativity, Canon David Mungavin said “It is great to come together as a community and parish to celebrate this special time of year. One Night in Bethlehem is a magical event which transforms our church grounds into the stable in Bethlehem. The live nativity, music and animals will help the children try to imagine the night that Jesus was born. We have lots of animals looking forward to greeting the children and everyone is welcome so be sure to put it in your diary”.

There will be a new instalment this year, ‘The Little Donkey Depot’ will be a quiet spot especially for anyone who needs some time out away from the sounds, lights, and crowd. This depot is particular good if a little one is feeling overwhelmed and needs somewhere to sit quietly. This comfy corner will be overlooking the animals but without the bustle, and will feature the Tovertafel Sensory Machine, wooden toys, coffee and tea.

Everyone is welcome. Raffle tickets can be bought with cash on the night. All proceeds from the event will go to Make a Wish Foundation Ireland and the Parish Funds.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
