Wicklow Rapid Response release statistics for final quarter of 2023

Wicklow RR were busy as ever in 2023.

Wicklow RR have just released their Q4 statistics (October, November, and December), which have shown a very busy final quarter for the voluntary pre-hospital care service.

In the last three months of the year, Wicklow RR responded to 49 incidents on behalf of the National Ambulance Service, including:

20 cardiac arrests.
11 road traffic collisions.
5 paediatric calls.
1 industrial incident.
1 water incident.
3 multiple-casualty incidents.

The service have also undertaken training alongside local CFR Ireland grounds, NAS, and Wicklow Fire Services, as well as supporting over 10 NAS off-duty responders in Co. Wicklow.

The service wrote on their social media accounts “Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission to bring pre-hospital critical care to the people of Wicklow and beyond. Particularly out sponsors, Trinity Skoda, SD Worx, and SSE Renewables, ASL Training, Fitzgerald Kitchens, and Irish Bio Fuels.”
