Phase one of Bray Dart Interchange has begun

Phase one of the construction of the Bray Dart Interchange scheme has begun today (Wednesday 21st), along parts of the Quinsborough Road.

The first phase of these works will involve laying a storm water drainage line.

When completed, Wicklow County Council have stated that this will deliver a high-quality public realm interchange between the key transport modes of walking, cycling, taxi, bus and railway at Bray Train Station.

Some designs have been released to better illustrate the future of the area.

The plans have been met with mixed reactions from the public, with some stating that it is unclear how motorists will be able to collect people from the train station with no set-down for cars.
