Purple House Charity uplifts with annual event at Powerscourt House

Purple House Cancer Support has announced its second annual Wellness Day.

Taking place at the historic Powerscourt Estate main house, the event is scheduled for March 3 rd, 2024, and will offer a sanctuary of health and wellness to the community.

The event will start at 9.45 am with the ticket price including lunch and access to all talks and workshops. A limited number of early bird day tickets priced at €48 are on sale now with full price day ticket then going on sale at €58.

This enriching day will feature a main stage where prominent voices in wellness will share their insights. Gerry Hussey, the renowned performance psychologist and #1 selling Author, will provide strategies for fortifying mental and emotional health. 

Mark Fennell will speak about breakthrough strategies from his new book, “Break Through.” This work is a treasure trove of wisdom for those facing life’s challenges.

Also announced is Sarah Keogh, the founder of Eatwell and a respected dietitian, who will share her expertise on the intersection of food and long-term health. Sarah’s session promises to be an invaluable addition to the line-up. Meanwhile, renowned horticulturist Diarmuid Gavin will weave in the profound connection between nature and health, while Veronica O’Leary, the CEO of Purple Housewill share inspiring stories of courage and community support.

TV and radio broadcaster Clare McKenna will host the main stage again this year.

There will also be a variety of wellness workshops that will run concurrently with the events at the main stage, allowing attendees to have a personalised experience with activities and session on holistic health and mindfulness and other therapies.
