Screening of Irish documentary “Dinner 2050” in Wicklow Library this evening

Produced by Arklow chef Tadgh Byrne and directed by Dubliner Max Barry, this documentary about the future of Irish food will be screened today at 6.30pm in the Wicklow Library.

Dinner 2050: Future of Food in Ireland seeks to explain what Irish people will likely be eating in the year 2050.

The independent documentary shows how technology and developments in farming will have huge impacts on what we eat and how we eat.

It premiered in UCD last December to rave reviews, where it was recieved by an audience with a strong Wicklow contingency.
