The death has occurred of George Francis Kavanagh of Walmer, Deal, Kent, formerly of Ballybawn House, Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow.
Born in Ballybawn House on the 19th June 1939, son of Thomas and Annie Kavanagh, and youngest of seven children.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Joyce, daughter Beverly and her partner Ian, his sister Breda, and his nieces and nephews.
He is to be cremated in Kent and his ashes are being brought home to Kilmacanogue by his family.
There will be a Mass at St. Mochonog’s Church in Kilmacanogue on 18th October 2023 at 10.00 am and his ashes will be interred in the family grave there.
There will be a celebration of his life at The Glenview Hotel, Glen of the Downs, at which all of George’s friends and former colleagues are welcome.
