MURPHY, Jim (Johnstown Road, Cabinteely and formerly of Rathdrum) 17th May 2020 peacefully, in his 89th year at home surrounded by his loving family, after an illness borne with great dignity in the exceptional care of the staff in St. Joseph’s Shankill. Will be sadly missed by his darling wife Kathleen and much loved sons Edward, James, Thomas, Liam, Tony, Dermot and daughter Sheena, daughters-in-law Josephine, Trish, Irene, Merle and Naomi and much adored grandad to his seventeen grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Michael, Eddie, Syl, Tony and sisters Maura, Elsie and Doreen. Exceptional father, grandfather and family man.
A private Funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Waterford.
When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Jim’s life with family and friends at a later date.
