Brehony (née Hurley) St. Michael’s Terrace, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 4th May 2019 unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Kathleen, dearly loved wife of the late Desmond (Des), loving mother of Brigid, John, Desmond and the late Marty, treasured sister of Dorrie (Canavan) and the late Ellie (Myler), Polly (O’Keefe), John, Jim, Lar and Henry, cherished mother-in-law of Breege, Alvina and the late Paul Walsh. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, sister, grandchildren Christopher, Katherine and Killian, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends, especially those in The Wheelchair Association and her devoted carers.
Kathleen will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home on Friday afternoon from 2pm with removal Friday evening at 6.30pm to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow arriving at 7pm. Funeral Saturday after Mass at 10am to St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Irish Wheelchair Association. |
