Maria Swords, née McDermott of Killincarrig, Co Wicklow and late of Hazel Ave, Kilmacud, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, on Saturday 30th January, 2021, in her 88th year, after a long illness borne with courage and good humour, in the company of Bob and Catherine and the wonderful staff of Wicklow Hospice. Reunited with her beloved son Neil, husband Michael and sisters Doreen, Pat and Rita. She will be sadly missed by son Bob, daughter Catherine, daughter-in–law Liz, son-in-law Niall, grandchildren Daniel, Sam, Rachel, Luke, Emily, and by Ana, Charlie, Marion and her many dear friends and relations.
Due to current restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday 4th February at 10.00am.
