Peacefully in his 93rd year & in the tender care of the wonderful staff of St. Colman’s Hospital, Rathdrum. Beloved husband of Dorrie (née Hurley), adored father of Michael, John, Mark, David, Kathleen, Dorcas, Patrick & Helen & much loved brother of Dorcas & the late Paddy, Michael & Owen. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

In accordance with government guidelines, Mark’s funeral will take place in private. Removal from Sweeney’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.15am to St. Mary & Patrick’s Church, Avoca arriving for a private funeral Mass at 11am. Those who cannot attended are welcome to join via the link below. Burial afterwards in Castlemacadam Cemetery, walking from the Church.
