Maureen Scallan (née Fitzgerald) of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, has died suddenly at home, on Sunday, 20th March.
Beloved and loving wife of Dick (deceased), mother of Gerard Scallan, Brighid Regis, the late Tony Scallan, Deirdre Scallan, Aisling MacRunnels, sister of the late Eileen Brogan, the late Fr. Michael Fitzgerald OCD, Phyllis Frauenberger, Sheila Sibley and Margaret Sharrock, grandmother of Stephen, Niamh, Ciara, Sinéad, Caoimhe, Maeve, Ronan and Finnan. She is missed already by her closest and more extended family, Ruth, Brendan and all her many nieces and nephews, and friends in Greystones, Castlebar, Wexford, Broadford, Co. Limerick and scattered around the world.
Reposing at her home on Friday evening, March 25th from 6pm until 8pm. Please be mindful of face covering, hand sanitising & refrain from handshaking & hugging, Thank you.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 26th 2022, at 11am in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones (which can be viewed on the following link https://gkpastoralarea.ie/online/) after which Maureen will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
