Michael Connolly of Kilmantain Park, Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly Bath Avenue, Sandymount, Dublin 4. Sacristan of The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Main Street, Bray, Co. Wicklow & proud recipient of the Benemerenti Medal. January 11th 2021, peacefully after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Eileen (née Brien), daughter Alison (Flo) & sister Bridget. Sadly missed by his loving family, children Trisha, Martin & Alan, brother Jimmy, sisters Carmel, Julie & Margaret, daughter-in-law Paula, Martin’s partner Teresa, Alison’s fiancé Graham, grandchildren Jessica, Alex, Zoe, Abbie, Barry & Wesley, great-grandson Harry, nieces, nephews, extended family & his wide circle of friends.

As a meaningful expression of thanks to all our front line workers & especially those working in health care & in view of the sharp increase in Covid19 cases throughout the country, Michael’s family request that the house & Mass are kept private. The family understand that while people would like to be able to sympathise with them in person it would be against Government guidelines and dangerous for all.

Michael’s funeral cortège will leave the family home in Kilmantain Park at 11.45am on Thursday morning (January 14th), walking to the front of The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Main Street, Bray en route to The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones for 1pm Funeral Mass which can be viewed by clicking on the following link www.greystonesparish.ie after which Michael will be laid to rest in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray at approximately 3pm.
