Gildea (née Daly) late of Mountain Bay, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Rathnew, Dublin, Manchester and London. Retired Professor of English at Salford University, who died peacefully in the loving care of Andrea, Paddy and the staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home on the 20th July 2022. Nuala beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of David and the late Hugh. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, David’s partner Kathy and her family, brother Finn, brother-in-law Martin, sister-in-law Rita, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
