Patricia “Pat” E. (Gallagher) Igini, was the daughter of the late John V. Gallagher and Catherine (Rowland) Gallagher, was born May 8, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. She attended and graduated from Maryville Academy of Des Plains, IL.

She was united in marriage to Frank Charles Igini in Rome, Italy in 1950. Frank preceded her death shortly after their marriage. After the death of her beloved Frank, she lived in Mexico as an artist. She assisted in the painting of the interior of a church in San MiguelDe Allende.

She returned to Chicago to become the first woman, chief buyer for male fashion at Lytton Department Store. Upon retirement she resided in Dublin, Ireland and later moved to Bray, Ireland.

She was a member of the Irish Georgian Society,

“Aunt Pat” as she was affectionately known, loved family, genealogy, and an avid reader of array of books. She provided the history & tales of the Gallagher family from Ireland to America going back to the days of pirates & kings. Her generous spirit and pleasant personality shined when travelling with family. Her love by many and her influence will remain in the lives of all that knew her.

Her brother Richard V. Gallagher preceded her in death 2015. She leaves to morn Nephews Richard Gallagher of Nara Japan, Kevin Gallagher (Robert Long) of Pittsburg Pennsylvania, Patrick Gallagher (Karen) of Natick Massachusetts and Gregory Gallagher of Forest City North Carolina. Grand-niece Shauna Gallagher of Natick Massachusetts and a host of relatives and friends.
