Ronald (Bert) Dowling, 89 years young, (O’Byrne Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow) April 14th. 2019. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital; after a long illness accepted with grace, and lovingly cared for at home. Predeceased by his parents Mary and James, brothers Michael, Frank and Noel, sisters Gretta and Maeve, and his infant sons Ronald, Brendan and David. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan, loving father of Patrick, Gabrielle, Fergal, Maeve, Ronan and Barry, kind and gentle grandad to Laurie, Adrienne, Sami, Sara, Christos, Gabriella, Stephen, Craig, Gavin and Conor, and great-grandad to Jacob William. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Dot and Annette, sister-in-law Sr. Mary Fergus, daughters-in-law Jackie and Laura, son-in-law Brett, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Removal on Tuesday, 16th April, to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray arriving at 5.30pm (walking from his home at 5.15pm). Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 17th April, at 10.30am followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray. |
